Dr. Ben & Tammi Barnett
Ben and Tammi are from Roanoke, VA and they met in high school. They have been married for twenty-six years and they have three children, who are in college. In 1993, they both decided to make Jesus Lord of their lives. They entered the full time ministry in 1995 and have never looked back ever since then. Today, Ben and Tammi lead the great Bridge Pointe Church.
Tammi’s passion is to promote the spiritual and emotional well-being of all women through an integrative and balanced approach by focusing on mind, body and spirit in order to help women live an authentic and productive lifestyle. Tami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from James Madison University. Most of Tammi’s professional career has involved leadership in non-profit sector. Tammi leads the Women’s Ministry at Bridge Pointe Church.
Ben and Tammi completed training in Professional Coaching at the Pastoral Institute in Columbus, GA. They currently provide coaching to couples seeking to become engaged, married couples; and individuals and teams who are “stuck”
Marv & Brigette Richardson
Marv and Brigette Richardson have been serving God in Atlanta for 19 years and were married in 2012. Together, they oversee the C.R.E.W, our Single Adult Ministry at Bridge Pointe Church. Marv also co-leads the Men’s Ministry and helps oversee the Worship Ministry. Marv and Brigette both have dual roles as an engineer and an attorney, respectively, while they also devote themselves to the affairs of God’s church as ministers.
Brigette is from Texas and was baptized in 1997 in her teen years when she was part of the youth ministry at the Greater Houston Church. She went on to graduate with a Sociology degree from the University of Texas at Austin. After serving full time in the Campus Ministry for the Austin Christian Church, Brigette moved to Atlanta in 2010 and eventually attended John Marshall Law School, where she graduated in 2012.
The Richardson’s are passionate about ministering to young men and women. Along with studying and teaching God’s Word, they both love dancing, travel and attending sporting and artistic events.
Stacy & Robynee Brown
Next Generation Minister
Stacy Brown is a native of Augusta, GA and relocated to Atlanta where he attended and graduated from Morris Brown College. While he was met and baptized on May 14,1995. Robynne Brown, a graduate of Mercer University has her roots in Detroit, but has been a long-term Atlanta resident and faithful servant for God’s kingdom since September 4,1994. They were happily married February 1999. Both are professional educators where Stacy serves as a school administrator, and Robynne as a classroom teacher. They both have served within integral ministries to help feed and grow the church. This includes Next Generation (most current), singles ministry and marrieds ministry groups. Stacy has specifically lead and advanced the Music Ministry for over 10 years. God’s plan for his completion of a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction along with his Certification of Advanced Graduate Studies in Leadership & Supervision as an educator allowed him international ministry experience by serving The Lord, leading as the Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Church Council and encouraging the saints there for 2 years. Robynne has served as the Georgia Chapter representative for HOPE Worldwide and has successfully led the KidzRock /Children’s ministry for over 10 years. They were appointed (ordained) Evangelists in 2013. They are the grateful parents of two faithful disciples, Jordan Brown who is currently attending Georgia State University and Sydni Brown who is a member of the WestLake High School, class of 2019.
Adrian Sr. & Crystal Consonery
Elder & Administrator
Adrian and Crystal are both from Louisiana. They became Christians in 1997 and have served in various capacities of Church leadership prior to Adrian being appointed an Elder in 2011. They have two children, Aerial and Adrian Jr, who are both very active in the functions of the Church.
Crystal is an Alumni of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and holds a PhD in Biblical Counseling. She is Certified Faith Based Clinical Counselor with over twenty years of counseling and training and development experience. Dr. Crystal also serves as the Administrator for Bridge Pointe Church. She is beloved for her ability to balance humility with sturdy convictions.
Kevin & Pam Lightburn
Kevin and Pam Lightburn were both born and raised in Belize, Central America. They met in New York City where they were married in December 1988. After moving to Georgia in 1999, Kevin was baptized in February 2000 and Pam in July 2001. They are parents to two amazing children Sean an inspiring artist, and Ashlee a graduate of Kennesaw State University and a self proclaimed flower child, both of whom are disciples and are active in the ministry. Kevin and Pam led the Middle School Ministry for five years, until Kevin was appointed as an elder in 2012. In their professional life, Kevin is the Facility Manager for RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc and Pam is a Phlebotomist for Quest Diagnostics and currently attends Belhaven University.
Gerald & Josephine Rankin
Gerald was born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. He attended Gannon University in Erie and was employed with the Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation for 21 years. Gerald moved to Atlanta in 1997 and became a Christian in 2001.
Josephine, a native of Milledgeville, Georgia, holds Bachelor of Art Degrees in both Sociology and Early Childhood Education. She became a Christian in 1998 and now serves with the Bridge Pointe Prison Ministry. She was employed at Ben Hill Christian Academy for 15 years as a kindergarten teacher and retired in 2014.
Gerald and Josephine have been married since May 2003. Together Gerald and Josephine have four children and six grandchildren.
Marvin & Denise Taliaferro
Marvin was born and raised in Smithfield, Virginia. He met his wife Denise while they were both attending Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina in 1981. He is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Denise, a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. They fell in love and were married in 1984.
After College, Marvin worked for Circuit City for 18 years. Today, he owns and operates his own chauffeured transportation business.
In 1990, the Taliaferros moved to Atlanta, Georgia. That very year, Marvin was baptized and his wife Denise joined him as a disciple in 1992. They both serve sacrificially but also joyfully in several ministries within the Church. In 2014, Marvin was appointed an Elder. He and Denise reside in Lithia Springs, GA and they have two children Myron and Marvin Jr. they also enjoy the presence of three grandchildren.
